School Tuition Fee Conditions
- No cash accepted.
- A non-refundable and non-deductible registration fee is due upon acceptance and the first payment must be paid in full.
- Tuition fees must be paid before a student is assigned to the school.
- School tuition fees do not include school uniforms, books, or school trips which are non-refundable.
- All fees (including school tuition fees, books, and uniforms) are excluding the 15% VAT (for non-Saudis).
- No discount for siblings.
- Siblings are given preference, provided they meet the Admission’s Criteria.
- School uniforms will be purchased separately from the school.
- Parents will receive from the school a supply list to be purchased externally.
Financial Policy
- The terms of the HVS fee policy are non-negotiable and may be updated from time to time. It is the parent’s responsibility to read the policy document carefully and adhere to the policy currently in place.
- When opening a new file for a student, you will have to pay a fee at the time of registration. This registration fee is excluded from the school tuition. If you withdraw after registration, the fees you paid will not be refunded.
- Students will not receive the textbook until the first instalment of tuition is paid on time. The school is not responsible for lost or damaged student books. Otherwise, parents/guardians will get charged an additional fee for the new book.
- If the parent/guardian fails to pay the school tuition fee within the agreed time frame, the school has the right to refer to the legal authorities for the collection of any unpaid amount.
- It is not possible to apply any paid school tuition fee for the student’s siblings if the parent/guardian wishes to withdraw the student’s file from the school. Tuition fees are not transferable between siblings under any circumstances.
- After the fi¬rst week of school or during the school year, the parent/guardian has the right to withdraw the student from the school and without an acceptable excuse by the school management, only after paying the full amount of the school tuition fee for the same academic year.
Refund of Fees
- Requests for refunds must be made in writing by submitting a completed ‘Refund Request Form’ to the admissions office. The admissions office will obtain internal clearance before forwarding the form to the accounts department.
- To avoid delays with refund processing, please ensure that all books and equipment issued to the student are returned to the school prior to submitting the refund request.
- The school will aim to process all refunds within one month after the receipt of the ‘Refund Request Form’ and supporting documents.
- The parent/guardian is entitled to a refund of the first instalment payment of the tuition fee, only if the parent/guardian moves from Jeddah to another city or a permanent transfer from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Refund procedures are applicable only if the student’s parent/guardian provides the school with written notice from the parent’s workplace management of the first week of the school year, otherwise, parents/guardians are not entitled to refunds.
Tuition Fee Payment Terms
Tuition fee is payable in three instalments. Full tuition fee for the term is due before the start of each term.
- Registration for new students at the beginning of the school (from August)/
- opening new fi¬le fees including the 1st instalment fees shall be settled upon completion of the registration form.
- The second instalment/shall be settled within a period of 15 days from the due date (1st of October).
- The third instalment/shall be settled within a period of 15 days from the due date (1st of January).
- Registration for new students before the beginning of the school (from July)/
- opening new fi¬le fees including the 1st installment fees shall be settled upon completion of the registration form.
- The second instalment ———> (1st of October) not later than the 15th of October.
- The third instalment ———> (1st of January) not later than the 15th of January.
- For the newly enrolled students registering for the second term, opening new fi¬le fees including the 2nd term fees shall be settled upon completing the registration form.
- For the existing students
- First Instalment: ———> (1st of April) not later than the 15th of April.
- Second Instalment: ———> (1st of October) not later than the 15th of October.
- Third Instalment: ———> (1st of January) not later than the 15th of January.
Payment Methods
For the convenience of parents, HVS offers several payment options:
- Payments can be made via the school’s accounting office by credit card.
- Payments can be made via the school’s application through payment channels.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer.
